Knitted crowns. Crochet crown. Crochet hook and threads for the crown. Elsa's turquoise crown with a scythe

Gynecology

Crocheting skills is a great opportunity for craftswomen to replenish the wardrobe of their loved ones with warm clothes from really high-quality material, to add variety to the interior of their home or to please children with interesting accessories, such as a knitted openwork crown. Hook, minimum yarn and good scheme- this is what can turn a simple white child dress in princess outfit or snowflakes.

No "and so it will do"

To get a product that can compete with the plastic and metal crowns that are sold in abundance in stores, you should pay attention to the choice of yarn and decor. If you are not careful, the resulting crown will look like a made in homemade product. This is unlikely to please a child who counted on beautiful thing... In addition, any product knitted with your own hands is always subject to close study and criticism of others, which means the crown, crocheted, should be stylish, neat, proportional.

Yarn and tool

Thin, stiff yarn is best for knitting a crown. The optimal choice will be in favor of cotton, linen, viscose or polyamide. The thread thickness cannot be less than 500 m / 100 grams, it is better to choose a yarn that is even thinner. Of course, knitting with such thin threads is not for the faint of heart, because in addition to everything, you will also have to observe a high density of the full (otherwise, uneven stretched loops cannot be avoided). The finished canvas should be dense and as rigid as possible in order to get a neat crown. The hook should be thin, with a head size of 0.9-1.2 mm.

As for the color of the yarn, it is better to use classic tones: from cold white to pastel shades of blue, pink and purple. The use of beige yarn can negate all efforts, because it looks "dirty" next to lighter colored clothes.

Additional decor

Gone are the days when the one was considered beautiful baby suit, on which there were more "sparkles" than on the New Year tree, so there is no need to rack your brains and try to fit more decor on the knitted crown. A crocheted crown for a girl can undoubtedly be decorated with sewn decorative elements that match the style and color. However, it is important to observe the measure and not overdo it. Sew-on elements that can be used as decoration for the crown:

  • Beads and beads.
  • Sequins.
  • Rhinestones.
  • Satin ribbons and cords.

Small decor is very convenient to sew between the loops of the canvas. Pico, which is often decorated with the last row of crowns, are also excellent for this purpose. The decor should be sewn on before the crown is soaked in the fixing solution.

As a decoration option, consider using lurex yarn.

In knitting yarn, it shines well and has an elegant look, however, you should be careful to use other sparkling elements together with lurex, there is a chance to overdo it.

Crown shape

A knitted crown (crocheted snowflakes give it a completely winter flavor) is suitable only for celebrating the New Year, while the use of a universal decor will expand the scope of the accessory.

Knitted diadem

When choosing such a shape for making a crown, the volume of the head does not need to be measured. By the way, this model can be used many times, even if the child has grown, or it can be presented to friends who have a baby without worrying about the size of his head. In search of information on how to crochet a crown for a girl, it is easy to find a large number of tips and schemes. It is worth choosing the one, when looking at which as few questions as possible arise. In this case, the work will be a pleasure, and the result will be positive.

The scheme below is quite complicated to implement, but if it is successfully implemented, a very beautiful crown will turn out. The good thing about the hook is that it allows you to knit fabrics of even such a complex shape.

Completion of work

To ready product could fully perform its functions, it must be treated with starch, PVA glue or gelatin. All of these methods are equally effective, especially when you combine some of them.

Considering that the described procedures lead to getting wet, it is necessary to prepare in advance the object on which the crown will dry (the hook and the specifics of the canvas associated with it can lead to shrinkage or deformation after drying). Many craftswomen note that a glass jar is excellent for these purposes. Sometimes also use inflated balloon... Then the dried crochet crown will have correct shape, will become really tough and will not let you down at a crucial moment.

The dream of almost any baby is to turn into a princess in a wonderful dress, magic shoes and with a delicate crown ... And, of course, it is at the New Year's ball that these dreams should come true! Let us help them transform and create unique beauty crowns for girls with our own hands! This work will not take much time, but it will bring great joy! And how to crochet a crown, we will consider in the article.

Tools and materials required for work

To create a wonderful fabulous accessory, you need to prepare:

  • Cotton threads (white, golden, silver) or yarn with lurex.
  • A crochet hook is better if it is a little thinner than necessary. This will add extra rigidity to your garment.
  • Starch, hairspray of the strongest hold (with glitter) or PVA glue - for additional processing.
  • Knitting patterns.
  • Decorative fittings (rhinestones, beads).
  • Glue (for fixing the crown on the hairpin).
  • Hair clips or headband.

The simplest bell crown

For this accessory, you need to dial 30-35 air loops (their number should be a multiple of five). We close the chain in a ring and several rows (4-6) we knit round single crochets. Knitting of the fabric should be very tight so that the finished product does not wrinkle or fall over.

Our next action will be to create the first clove. To do this, you need to tie six single crochets and turn the work. The next row will have five pillars. without crochets, which start from the second loop of the previous row. Turn again, knit 4 single crochets - this way we will reduce the loops. When the last loop remains, we knit air loop and go down the clove, on the side of the clove, in a single crochet. We finish with a half-column. One clove is ready.

In the same way, it is necessary to tie all the other cloves.

At the end of the edge of the teeth, it is imperative to tie it with single crochets - this will give a neater and more complete look to the crown. We also tie the bottom.

Sew beads to the tip of each clove. That's all, done!

It remains to fasten on a headband or hair tie.

Crown for a newborn baby

Photo sessions of their babies have become quite fashionable among modern parents. For such filming, you can also create a beautiful little thing - a crown. In this case, choose threads that are soft and delicate, with natural compounds, hypoallergenic. Tight knitting is contraindicated here, since the skin of babies is very vulnerable and a hard accessory will irritate it.

To make a crochet crown, you must first take a measurement from the girth of the head. This crown should be worn like a cap or headband.

Small white crown on the rim

Let's bring some magic in daily life our beloved princesses! Let's take it and make a wonderful crown for a girl with our own hands - by attaching it to the clip, we will get a wonderful hair ornament!

Materials required for work:

  • Fine yarn white(it is possible with the addition of lurex).
  • The hook is suitable in size.
  • Hairpin clip.
  • Rubber glue.
  • A little starch or hairspray.

In the first row, you need to dial a chain of sixty air. loops and connect it with a ring.

Second-fourth rows: we knit single crochet stitches.

In the fifth row we knit like this: 4 air. loops, * post. with a crochet, air. loop * - from * to * to the end of the row;

In the sixth row, we knit 2 single crochets under the gaps of air loops.

In the seventh row, we will knit ten arches from 6 air. loops, inserting the hook into every sixth column of the bottom row.

In the ninth row, we make 5 air from the middle of the arch number 1. stitches, we knit a column with two crochets - in the center of arch number 2, 5 more stitches and a column with two crochets - here. Again 5 loops and a half-column in arch number 3. In this sequence we go to the end of the row.

You have five teeth.

In the tenth row, tie all the cloves with single crochets, forming peaks at their tops.

We will fold the lower edge of the crown.

Then we bend lower part- this way the crown will look prettier.

That's it, we have tied the crown. Now we will either starch it, or sprinkle it generously with hairspray - to shape it.

It remains to attach it to the clip with the help of rubber glue - and the beautiful white crown is ready!

Snowflake crown from individual motifs

The snowflake costume for the New Year's carnival is completely ready, but something is missing? Complete the enchanting character with a crown-shaped headdress. According to the crochet pattern attached below, you just need to knit several motives.

Such a wonderful addition will not be just a decoration, it will be the highlight of the outfit. After all, no one around will have such a unique thing! It is not difficult to make it, and it will not take much time.

So, for the crochet crown, you need to create 5-9 elements. Next, they need to be starch to stiffen and stretch them on a flat surface. After complete drying, they are glued to the hoop and decorated with sequins, beads, artificial snow, etc.

This hoop is pre-processed either with tape or pasted over with beads.

Elsa's turquoise crown with a scythe

Prepare about fifty grams of fine turquoise yarn and about 100 grams of white, several small decorative snowflakes.

The crown should not be very high, it should hold very well on the child's head, holding an additional accessory - a long braid of white yarn. Knitting patterns are attached below.

To work, you need to measure the circumference of the child's head and calculate the loops for the pattern.

To make the braid, cut the white threads into 2.2 m pieces (when you attach them to the crown, the length will be 1.1 m). Attach these threads along the bottom edge by folding the thread in half and pulling it into a loop. To achieve great splendor, add a little strand a little higher than those already fixed at the bottom. Pay close attention to the weight of the threads - if the braid is too heavy, it will pull over the crown, and it will slide off the head.

After attaching the required number of threads, twist them slightly to the middle, fastening them in the tail and decorating with a small snowflake. It remains to braid the pigtail - starting more loosely and making the braiding more dense at the bottom. Fix the tip with a thread and glue the snowflake. Add snowflakes to the crown itself.

It is very easy to crochet graceful crowns according to crochet patterns, and they will bring a huge amount of joy to your little princess!

Crown 6 and 7

Crown knitting pattern, example one. For work we need yarn "Iris" - 10 g of white, and gold, ribbon, hook 0.9. And we will start knitting, with white yarn, we will collect a chain of 68 vp. we will knit the first row of 1 st.s / n in the third cart. n chains and continue to knit to the end according to the row pattern. We continue to work further according to the scheme for the seventh row inclusive. Then we will tear off the thread. In the eighth row, add new thread and knit again according to the scheme. And cut the thread again. In the ninth row, having attached a new thread, we will knit according to the scheme. Let's cut the thread. And the last time - in the tenth row, we will attach a new thread, knitting according to the scheme, we will cut it off again. It remains only to tie the magic crown, for this we attach the gold thread and knit along the upper part of the crown in this way: over the arches of the seventh row we will knit 6 tbsp. b / n. , and over the arches of the eighth row - 3 tbsp. b / n.

The second pattern for knitting a miracle crown, which can also be further decorated with sequins, beads and rhinestones. The report of this pattern will have 15 stitches. In order for us to get six vertices, we need to knit a chain of 90 loops and close it with a connecting loop.

Now we knit as follows:

The first row is st. b / n.

Second row: Art. b / n.

Third row: 3 in. n lifting, 3 tbsp. s / n., 3 vp, 7 st. b / n., 3 v.p.

Fourth row: 3 vp lifting, 1 vp, st. s / n., 2 vp, art. s / n., 1 century p., art. s / n., 3 vp, 5 tbsp. b / n., 3 v.p.

Sixth row: 3 vp lifting, 1 vp, st. s / n., 2 vp, art. s / n., v.p., st. s / n., 2 vp, art. s / n., 1 century p., art. s / n., 2 vp, art. s / n., v.p., st. s / n., 3 vp, art. b / n., 3 v.p.

Crown 8

Crown 9 (Kokoshnik on a metal frame)

Materials: cotton yarn with metallic (50g) - 2 skeins (it took one and a half); asterisk yarn (silver, 50g) - 1 skein (very little, only for strapping); silver beads of 2 sizes; different sewing rhinestones; elastic; satin tape.

The husband made a frame from wire, tied it with a crochet.

Tied a mesh along the frame.

I tied the floral elements separately and attached them to the mesh. (Can be done according to the principle irish lace, but you can put it on the mesh and just tie the edges, grabbing the mesh. In my opinion, the troubles are the same, so do as you like). If you just sew the elements onto the mesh, it is better to tie it with an asterisk right away, it creates the effect of frost, if you attach it with a binding, then it is not necessary. An asterisk in the second row - it turns out too thick. The whole idea is lost.

Ochelya (or forehead). I crocheted from the inner edge and knitted several rows, not reaching the end each time. Then I picked up the loops from the rear side, there it was no longer subtract. Tie the second part, put a strip of fleece folded 2-3 times between them (so that the rim does not press and the kokoshnik would sit better on the head).

Decorate with beads, rhinestones and whatever else you like. Let your imagination work.

I sewed an elastic band on the back and satin ribbons... Ribbons tied in a bow will cover the elastic. It is possible without an elastic band, but it keeps better with it. The ribbons can slide over the head.

You can starch. That's all.

Preparations for the New Year are in full swing. Matinee is approaching in kindergarten and many girls want to be on it in a princess costume. The main subject of the princess's costume is, of course, the crown. So we will knit it today.

The color of the yarn can be matched to the color of the dress. We'll have pink. You can also use lurex yarn. Such a crown can be additionally decorated with rhinestones, beads, sequins.

Dimensions: diameter - 10 cm, height - 6 cm.

Yarn: Narcissus (PNK named after S. M. Kirov, 100% mercerized cotton, 400 g / 100 m)

Hook: No. 1.5.

Job description: Crochet crown

Pattern repeat - 15 stitches.

In order to crochet the crown of 6 vertices, you need to knit a chain of 90 loops and close it in a circle with a connecting loop.

Then knit according to the pattern.

Crochet crown pattern.

Tie the crown at the bottom with one row of connecting posts.

Starch the crown, put on a round container and dry. I put it on a round plastic container.

You can give the crown a rigid shape with sugar, gelatin or starch. Gelatin can give a yellow tint.

Starch with potato starch:

Dissolve 1 tablespoon (with a slide) of starch in a small amount of cold water, then pour 500 ml of boiling water and brew well, stirring well. Dip the crown into the resulting paste, let it soak well, then squeeze out the excess.

ELSA'S HAT FOR NEW YEAR TREE

Soon the New Year holidays begin and you need to think about outfits for your little princesses. For those girls who love cartoons and princesses, I suggest tying a hat with a scythe of Princess Elsa - the heroine of the cartoon "Frozen". It is crocheted, the description is given for all sizes of hats, crowns and braids. And if you sew a corresponding dress with a shiny cape and make a crown for this image of a fairy princess, then your beloved daughter will be the most beautiful. While there is still time, we buy the appropriate threads, a hook and knit.

The number of threads is limited only by the weight of the braid - it will be inconvenient to wear the hat, too heavy a braid can pull the hat to one side.

Knitted crown for the spider princess. Last year my daughter wanted such an unusual costume. There were no problems with him. But with a headdress I had to suffer. But the almighty internet helped !! Having got a little creative, she gave birth to such a decoration. I used for him a large skein of cotton thread for knitting, crochet hook number 2.5 and "golden" beads for the Christmas tree.

Got 170 loops, taking into account the lifting and joining loops. In the first row, the first one with a crochet was knitted in the 7th loop from. The crown does not fit in a circle.
The finished canvas is sewn with an inconspicuous seam.
Then she diluted the gelatin in hot water, cooled it down a little. I soaked the crown in gelatin, squeezed it a little and pulled it over the frame. Moreover, if you need a crown for a boy, it is better to use a glass jar, then it turns out to be of a different shape. And I came up with the idea of pulling on an empty planter. I smeared it a couple more times with a brush and left it to dry. The next evening she decorated with beads.

Job description: Crochet crown

Pattern repeat - 15 stitches.

In order to get 6 vertices, you need to tie a chain of 90 loops and close it in a circle with a connecting loop.
Then knit according to the pattern.

Crochet crown pattern.

Tie the crown at the bottom with one row of connecting posts.

Starch the crown, put on a round container and dry. I put it on a round glass jar.

You can give the crown a rigid shape with sugar, gelatin or starch. Gelatin can give a yellow tint.

I starch with the help of potato starch: dilute 1 tablespoon (with a slide) of starch in a small amount of cold water, then pour 500 ml of boiling water and brew well, stirring well. Dip the crown into the resulting paste, let it soak well, then squeeze out the excess.

step

There are three types of product starching:
1.soft - 0.5-1 tsp. for 1 liter of water (suitable for bed linen)
2.semi-hard - 1 tbsp. for 1 liter of water (for collars men's shirts)
3. hard - 2 tbsp. for 1 liter of water

Step 2

Prepare the solution as follows:
Put starch in a glass or enamel dish, add a little cold water and knead well until thick sour cream, and then, stirring constantly, add boiling water until the desired consistency is obtained.
It is better to use a warm solution for starching. Dip the finished product into the solution, gently squeeze out the excess solution.

Step 3

If you need to starch a napkin knitted from cotton threads, then a semi-rigid type of starch is sufficient.
If you need to starch the skirt of a Christmas angel or a knitted vase, then use hard starch.
ATTENTION! After wringing out the excess solution, knitted product it is necessary to give the desired shape and leave to dry completely.
So, spread out the napkin and straighten it on a horizontal surface, pull the knitted vase over glass, plastic or other dishes of a similar shape. A skirt for an angel also needs to be pulled over a cone (truncated cone) after processing with a starch solution.

Christmas snowflake costume

If you have a daughter in your family, then she, at least once, was or will be on New Year's party Snowflake. Today, for those who know how to crochet, I want to show how you can make new Year costume DIY snowflakes. Most likely you have an elegant dress. Now we will make accessories: a crown and a snowflake magic wand.

We need: a hook 1.5, acrylic snow-white knitting threads, a hair hoop, a wooden stick and glitter glue for decoration.

Now crochet 5 snowflakes for the crown and 1 snowflake for the magic wand.

There are a lot of snowflake knitting patterns on the Internet, you can choose any you like. The main thing is that one snowflake is large, two medium and 2 small.

Here, according to this scheme, I knitted the central big snowflake:

The scheme is not complicated. I photographed the process of knitting a snowflake:

After all the snowflakes are ready, they need to be lightly smoothed out and coolly starched. Wait until it is completely dry (can be laid out on a white cardboard on a battery).

These are my snowflakes for the crown:

We apply snowflakes to the hoop, figuring out how they will be located.

We sew snowflakes to the hoop and to each other.

We wrap the hoop with the lower ray of the central snowflake and sew the tip to the snowflake from the inside out. Now she "sits" tightly.

We use glitter glue to bring beauty and again put it on the battery to dry out (snowflakes from moisture can become limp and sag a little, but this is fixable).

The Snowflake Crown is ready:

To complement the Snowflake costume, let's make a Magic Wand.

We take a wooden sushi stick, glue the tip of a white thread to it and wrap it tightly, ring to ring, the whole stick to the end. We wind the last turns on glue, cut off the end of the thread.

We glue the snowflake connected in advance with superglue.

Magic wand ready to do it yourself:

This is how Snowflake's New Year's costume turned out:

Let your little ones be the most beautiful on new year holiday!
