If simple crafts from threads, in your opinion, for wimps, then it's time to move on to serious needlework! It's time to get the crochet hook out of your craft box and move on to the real handmade.

So, for those who have just started their acquaintance with crochet, we offer a simple voluminous Christmas tree. For the manufacture of which you will need: thread, hook, paper cone, glue. We collect a chain from air loops(you definitely went through this at labor lessons at school), and then we glue this chain in a circle to paper cone. The Christmas tree is ready, if desired, it can be further decorated.

Crocheted Christmas tree: step by step MK with photo and description

For those who are at least a little familiar with crochet, we have an excellent master class on creating knitted Christmas tree. There are no tricks here simple knitting double crochet. For those who are not familiar with the knitting technique, we recommend watching this instructional video. So, for a fluffy Christmas tree, you will need: threads for knitting "grass", a hook, beads and ribbons for decoration.

We turn to the description of the work: you need to knit a Christmas tree in two threads. To start, dial 56 air loops and lock them into a ring. The second row, like all subsequent ones, is knitted with double crochets. Starting from the third row, it is necessary to decrease 4 loops in each row, i.e. we divide the number of loops of the row by 4, and we get the number of loops that do not need to be knitted (56/4 \u003d 14, i.e. in the third row we do not knit every 14 loops). The number of loops of the 4th row will be reduced by four and will be 52 (56-4 = 52). Again we carry out simple mathematical calculations and we get that you need to skip every 13 loops (52/4 = 13). And so we continue. In the last rows, the decrease will have to be done by eye.

Now the Christmas tree is ready, it remains only to decorate the knitted beauty, and you can put it in a place of honor!

With the help of a hook, you can knit not only Christmas trees, but also others. themed crafts eg Christmas wreath. From the threads, make 15-16 air loops and lock them into a ring, then knit three more rows with a regular single crochet, then fasten the thread. The wreath is ready. To decorate with red thread, make 30-35 air loops, pull them through the wreath and tie with a bow. Crocheted wreath is ready!

Crochet Christmas toys

Another option for New Year's crafts from threads can be a knitted cover. You can knit "clothes" for a store ball, which, for example, has lost its appearance, or as in our version - for old light bulb, thus transforming an unnecessary thing into a Christmas tree decoration.

Crafts from pom-poms for the New Year

The most noble material for thread crafts is pompoms. What needlewomen do not make of them: Christmas trees, wreaths, snowmen, various animals and much more. Making a pom pom is very easy, you can use a special tool, a cardboard circle, your hand or a fork. It all depends on what size pom pom you need. But the essence is the same everywhere: wind the yarn around the base, fasten it in the middle with a thread and cut the ends. Trim the ends of the pom-pom if necessary.

The more yarn you wind around the base, the more magnificent the pompom will be!

Christmas tree made of pompoms: do-it-yourself Christmas crafts

DIY Christmas crafts from threads and nails

A great idea for crafts for the New Year will be a picture of threads and nails, or the so-called String Art. It is not difficult to make such a craft with your own hands, if you follow simple rules safety while driving nails. All you need is a wooden board, a suitable pattern, nails, a hammer, tracing paper and thread. Transfer the drawing to tracing paper, attach it to the board and secure it so that it does not slip. Drive nails into the plank along the outline of the drawing on the tracing paper, and then remove the tracing paper. Now it remains only to fill the center of the pattern with threads. Approximate New Year's schemes see below:

Nitkography: do-it-yourself thread paintings for the New Year

Thread printing is a special technique of drawing with threads. Yes, we were not mistaken, it was drawing. This technique originated in Mexico, and today it has become quite widespread in our country. Even children can make thread pictures, so you can safely take note of thread printing for New Year's crafts. Beginners are advised to choose paintings without small details, so the search for a suitable pattern should be done in advance. For crafts using the nitkography technique, you will need: cardboard (the basis for the picture), thick PVA glue, knitting threads (it is better if they are of the same thickness), scissors, paints. Transfer the picture to cardboard, grease the contour with glue and circle with a thread. Press the thread well so that it sticks. When the outline is done, it remains to fill it with a thread. Examples of New Year's nitkographic pictures can be seen below:

Crafts from threads for the New Year using the isothread technique

An excellent New Year's craft will be a picture using the isothread technique, or it is also called thread graphics. The essence of the technique is very reminiscent of String Art (pictures of threads and nails), but instead of a plank and nails, cardboard and a needle are used in isothread. This kind of embroidery is quite original and interesting, but it is not entirely suitable for children, as there may be certain injuries in the process. For New Year's crafts using the isothing technique, you will need cardboard, a suitable picture, thread, and a needle.

Of course, the most popular material for making snowflakes is paper, but with a little imagination and a little ingenuity, you can make this type of decor from other available materials, such as wire, beads, felt fabric, plastic bottles, cotton swabs and much more. Today we will tell you how to make snowflakes for home decor. Ready-made snowflakes can be used to decorate a Christmas tree, curtain rod, doorknobs, ceiling chandeliers, and wall sconces.

What can you make snowflakes from or how to make snowflakes with your own hands.

Such snowflakes can be assembled from a wide variety of pasta, in this example, shells and bows were used. We lay out the future snowflake on the table, with a hot glue gun or polymer glue we glue all the pasta with each other, at the end we paint the product acrylic paint. You can read more about making such snowflakes, there are also various examples of pasta snowflakes.

Wire snowflakes.

We take a long piece of wire, wind one of the ends into a spiral, string a transparent bead, create a loop, followed by two more loops, scroll the ends with loops. We proceed to the next part of the snowflake, thread the bead, create a long loop, press it down with our fingers, next to it we create two more such loops, twist all three loops one at a time. Do the same with the next parts of the snowflake. From the remaining piece of wire we create a cobweb in the center, for this we lead the wire from one ray of the snowflake to another, each time wrapping the ray near the center. You can tie a silver thread to the finished snowflake and hang it on the Christmas tree.

Snowflakes from plastic bottles.

We cut off the bottom of the plastic bottle with a knife, take a thin brush and paint a snowflake on the cut off part of the bottle with acrylic paint. At the end, from above, with an awl, we create two holes into which we thread a rope for hanging the product.

Snowflakes from paper towel tubes.

We cut stationery knife a slightly flattened tube from paper towels, into rings 5-7 mm wide. On the table we lay out a snowflake from them (the product can be supplemented with elements of their paper), glue all the details with polymer glue or Moment glue. Top the snowflake with a layer of PVA glue and sprinkle with small sparkles.

Snowflakes from felt.

We cut the felt fabric into circles (you can try using cotton pads), sewing machine, we draw out the outlines of snowflakes with colored threads, then cut out their contours with scissors.

Snowflakes from beads.

Snowflakes can also be made from beads, the whole process of weaving snowflakes and beads is shown below.

Bead snowflakes.

Three pieces of wire are required for work, in the center they must be soldered or glued with a glue gun. String beads of different sizes onto segments of the future snowflake, and so that they do not fall off at the ends, it is necessary to create rings with pliers or process the last beads with transparent polymer glue.

Snowflakes from cotton buds.

We cut out circles from thick colored cardboard, put them on them cotton swabs, forming the outlines of a snowflake, glue all parts of the sticks to the base of the circle.

Snowflakes from woolen threads.

On a sheet of parchment or a piece of film, draw a snowflake with a marker (photo below), grease the surface of the snowflake fat cream for hands. Cut off the short piece woolen threads, soak it in PVA glue, and apply it to the painted parts. When all parts of the snowflake are pasted over, we draw the nose of the bottle of PVA glue over the parts of the snowflake, covering them with an adhesive film. Then we dip the brush into blue gouache and paint the applied layer of glue. We leave the snowflake to dry, when the product dries, carefully separate it from parchment or film.

Snowflakes hot gun.

Lubricate a sheet of parchment with oily hand cream, draw the outline of a snowflake with a glue gun, after the snowflake hardens, grease its surface with PVA glue and sprinkle with sparkles. On the reverse side with a glue gun, glue the string-pendant.

Snowflakes from toothpicks.

We lay out two identical lattices from toothpicks, gluing them with PVA glue, then we wrap each of them at the joints with threads. Then we lay one grate on top of the other, slightly mixing clockwise, gluing each other with transparent polymer glue or Moment.

Snowflake from matches.

On a sheet of paper, draw with a pen and measure the shape of a snowflake with a ruler. Then we take several boxes of matches, and set fire to each match to give them the desired color. After that, we glue the matches to the surface cut out of the cardboard form. The length of the matches can be adjusted by cutting off the excess with scissors.

Snowflakes from PVA glue.

We cover a sheet of parchment with a layer of hand cream, then draw the outlines of a snowflake with PVA glue, sprinkle the product with fine glitter, leave it to dry completely. After that, carefully separate the frozen snowflake from the surface of the parchment (a video is presented at the end of the article).

Volumetric paper snowflake.

On a piece of paper we draw six squares, in each of the squares we draw three more squares. We cut out large squares, each bend in the middle. Scissors do not completely cut along the lines. We unfold the square, fold the first row of strips, gluing them together with PVA glue or connecting them with a stapler. Turn the square over and connect the next row of strips. Then turn the square over again and connect the next row of strips with glue or a stapler. Do the same with the next five squares. When all parts of the snowflake are ready, they must be connected together, pinned with a stapler.

Snowflake from a textile napkin.

Such a snowflake will greatly decorate festive table, namely the guest's plate. We take a square textile napkin, bend all four corners to the center, and also bend the newly formed four corners to the center. Turn the napkin over, bend the corners to the center, holding it with your hand. We pull the corners out, gently spreading our hands, between the rays of the snowflakes we also straighten the corners out. We put the snowflake on a plate, and in its center we place a large rhinestone or cone.

DIY paper snowflakes.

Paper snowflakes can be glued to the window glass, hung on a fishing line from the ceiling, a chandelier or wall lamp, and also decorate the Christmas tree with them. To create a snowflake, you need a square sheet of paper, bend it in half, bend the corner of the left formed part to the right bottom, now bend the right corner to the left bottom, fold the resulting part in half. Cut off the excess with scissors. Well, then you need to cut the snowflakes with scissors according to the patterns below.
How to fold paper to create a snowflake.

What are snowflakes made of? From PVA glue.

As you can see, making snowflakes with your own hands is not at all difficult, especially since you can use absolutely different materials. We hope that after this review, the question of what to make snowflakes from will stop bothering you.

Fluffy snowflake with your own hands. Step-by-step instruction with photo

Nikiforova Evgenia Olegovna, teacher of additional education, GBOU boarding school p. Vorontsovka, Yeisk district, Krasnodar region.
Target: make a snowflake out of yarn to decorate the room.
Tasks: teach how to make snowflakes from yarn; introduce the technique of making pom-poms from yarn; learn how to use scissors when cutting threads; develop fine motor skills hands, imagination, thinking, perseverance, accuracy; open the mind.
Application: It can be used as a toy for the Christmas tree or just for decorating the interior. And my students generally suggested that if you make a snowflake bigger, you get a beautiful and soft pillow.
Equipment: yarn; cardboard rings; scissors.
In anticipation new year holidays, I, as a teacher of additional education, was instructed to conduct an unusual master class on this topic. And for some reason, I immediately remembered a snowflake from yarn, which I made while still a schoolgirl.
There are no specific age restrictions for creating this craft, I have students in grades 5, 7, 8, 9 in the circle group, everything turned out perfectly for everyone, and most importantly, they really liked it.
If this material is used for a lesson, then I suggest using a thematic physical minute:
Snowflakes are falling from the sky
Like a fairytale picture.
Let's catch them with our hands
And then we will show mom (hands over head, grasping movements)
And all around are snowdrifts,
Snow covered the road (stretching arms to the sides)
Do not get stuck in the field so that
Raise your legs higher (step in place raising your legs high)
There is a fox jumping in the field,
Like a red, soft ball (jumping in place)
Well, we go, we go (walking in place)
And we come to our house (they approach the tables)

And now let's move on to the master class itself!
PHOTO 1. So, we need yarn, two identical cardboard rings and small narrow scissors (so that we can cut the threads without any problems).
In order to make rings, we need cardboard (any, since I have a creative circle, there are a lot of cardboard packages that I never throw away, but use for various templates) and compasses. We need to draw two circles (the dimensions are up to you, for example, I drew circles with a diameter of 6 cm and 18 cm) and carefully cut them out. We should have two such rings.
The yarn must be wound into small balls so that each passes freely into the hole. I took yarn in two colors: blue - for the snowflake itself and white - for tying the warp and rays.

PHOTO 2. We take one ring and cut off the thread (in my case, white), which will later tie our base. We tie the thread (at one time, not into a knot) and put it on the ring, as shown in the photo.

PHOTO 3. Next, we cover our design with the second ring so that two threads are outside.

PHOTO 4. Now we will wrap the rings with yarn (in my case, blue) so as not to lose the outer two threads for tying. When we wind the rings, we need to make sure that the threads fit snugly against each other without gaps. And since we have a smaller inner diameter, there the threads will periodically overlap each other.

PHOTO 5. This is how I got it after winding the first ball. Next, take the second and continue to wind the rings further.

PHOTO 6. This is how it turns out completely wrapped rings, the threads for tying stick out. It took me two balls, the threads are wound in one row tightly to each other. You can also wind the second row, then the snowflake will turn out softer and more magnificent.

PHOTO 7. Now we need to carefully cut the threads along the edge of the rings with scissors, so as not to accidentally cut our threads for tying. I have thin nail scissors, and it was convenient for me to cut, running the blades right between the cardboard rings.

PHOTO 8. After we have completely cut the threads in a circle, we need to slowly and carefully tighten the threads that we had outside for tying.

PHOTO 9 We then carefully remove our rings. Then we tie the threads into a knot so that our base for the snowflake holds well.

PHOTO 10. Now we straighten and straighten the snowflake the way we had it on the rings. The threads that are tied up, we straighten up.

PHOTO 11. Let's start forming the rays. First, we divide the snowflake strings in half, then each half in half again.

PHOTO 12. Then we will need to cut off eight small threads (white in my case) to tie the rays. Divide each quarter in half and tie with thread.

PHOTO 13. We form eight identical rays, the field of which we cut off the extra threads, align the rays of the snowflake, if necessary. And now, our beauty is ready.

By the way, you can still decorate it as you wish with sparkles, sequins, etc., make eyes and a nose. As your fantasy tells you.
Thank you for your attention. I will be glad if my master class is useful to someone.

A fairly simple and unusually interesting New Year's craft for children in grades 1, 2 and 3 is a snowflake made of threads. Doing such crafts with their own hands, children simultaneously learn how to make pompoms from threads. After making the pompom light or, the child turns it into a snowflake, which can then be given its own character by depicting a funny muzzle in the center of the snowflake (on her face), or, at the choice of the child, the craft can remain in its original form :). In general, there is room for the development of fantasy and imagination, so let's fantasize and make a snowflake out of thread together, because it's always more interesting this way.

How to make a snowflake from threads (from a pompom)

To make this snowflake, you need a strong base and threads. We used a small book.

We begin to wind the thread around the book.

We try to wind not too tight, so that later the workpiece can be removed. The more layers we make, the more voluminous the snowflake will be. In this master class, 5 circles (layers) were made around the book.

Now carefully remove our winding and tie in the middle with a thread. It should turn out such a pseudo butterfly.

Cut the edges of the workpiece, as shown in the photo below.

We fluff the product into a pompom.

Now we need to divide the pom-pom into 6 parts. For convenience, we used elastic bands for hair. With the help of them, it turned out to divide the pom-pom into parts as proportionally as possible.

Then we take the thread and tie each bundle of threads.

Now let's start decorating the snowflake. If a child decides to make a face for a snowflake, then it can be made from buttons and threads. We decided to make a snowflake decor by knitting an amigurumi ring and fixing it in the center of the craft.

Good afternoon, today I am uploading the largest article on the most different ways make a snowflake with your own hands. You will see snowflakes made today v different techniques from those cut out of paper to those molded from liquid caramel. You will see beautiful snowflakes- crafts - woven from beads, fashioned from dough. Will lot interesting MASTER CLASSES snowflakes(glue, bead, paper). You will definitely find here an idea for your homemade snow art. Making snowflakes with your own hands is easy and pleasant at home - feasible ideas for snowflake crafts with kids and smart ideas for adult creativity.
So let's see what we're going to do today.

  • Cooking snowflakes (from dough, from caramel, from corn balls)
  • Snowflakes from recycled material ( toilet paper, from threads and glue)
  • Snowflakes in a twist quilling technique(with elegant decor
  • Snowflakes made of plastic bottoms of bottles and children's thermo-mosaic)
  • Snowflakes from natural material (from ice, wood)
  • Snowflakes from felt, crochet and wicker from beads.

That is, there will be a lot of interesting things. So...let's get started.

PAPER SNOWFLAKES for interior decor.
how to do it yourself.

Let's start with paper ideas to create snowflake crafts. And it's not just cut out of thin paper ... now I'll show you 3D snowflakes, in the technique of origami, in the technique of twisting-quilling and cardboard rolled snowflakes.

FLAT SNOWFLAKES FROM PAPER.

(openwork beauties and crafts from them).

Snowflakes can be ordinary FLAT ... when made of paper roll-triangle... a pattern is cut out on it ... a triangular fold is unfolded and an openwork snowflake and paper are obtained, in which the circular symmetry of the pattern.

Lots of ideas and carving patterns of openwork paper snowflakes I will describe in a separate article (so as not to clutter up this page). And then there will be a link to it.
Because paper snowflakes can be made NOT ONLY using the OPENWORK CUTTING technique. And you will see for yourself now.

As you can see in the photo above, paper snowflakes can not only be glued to windows (as in childhood), they can be used to decorate gift packages, postcards, trees by the porch, ribbons hanging from the curtain rod.

And from paper snowflakes you can do Christmas wreaths on the wall. A wreath of simply white snowflakes looks very gentle and beautiful ... and it’s very good if paired with white color choose another color (red or blue).

It is these delicate snowflakes that I teach to cut in a special article.

Others can be made from paper snowflakes silhouette wall hangings- For example christmas tree silhouette. And also with light hand From an unknown author, I learned the idea of how to create snow-white figurines of ballerinas in a paper snowflake skirt. Dancer silhouette also cut out of white paper ... and make a larger central hole on the snowflake - so that it fits.

And you can also add such a Christmas wreath of paper snowflakes LED Christmas garland.

The photo below shows that this requires a wire frame - but this is optional. You can simply cut out a ring of their cardboard, wrap this ring with a garland - and then with tape (with double-sided Velcro) glue the carthorn ring with openwork snowflakes from thin paper.

And snowflakes are cut out of thicker cardboard or felt. and hang them on trees. Naturally, you don’t need to fold the cardboard into a triangular wrapper - we just transfer the outlines of a thin paper snowflake onto the cardboard, circle it with a pencil and cut it out. And then you can decorate a paper snowflake with a pattern.

SNOWFLAKE WITH GLUE PATTERN- to make the pattern convex-contour, you can simply take a jar of PVC glue, which has a thin nose and squeeze the pattern onto the plane of the snowflake (as in the left photo below).

SNOWFLAKE WITH A PATTERN FROM COTTON STICKS. You just need to take cotton buds and cut off the cotton tops from them (slightly smooth them with the same glue) and attach them in the form of a pattern on a cardboard cut (as in the right photo below).

VOLUME 3D- SNOWFLAKES from paper.
(multilayer, fan and origami crafts)

And here are some more ideas for layered snowflakes . The principle of the craft is simple- cut out snowflakes from thin paper different size. We translate their contours onto thick cardboard - cut out the silhouettes of cardboard snowflakes.

We take a piece of foam (the one that insulates the cracks on the windows is suitable, you always have the remnants of such material at home) and cut a few small pieces. These plump little squares foam we use as spacer between cardboard layers snowflakes.

And you can in our paper snow creativity add some ORIGAMI principles. That is to cut paper modules- bend them in such a way to get FIGURED RAYS and lay out the rays in the form of a snowflake on a round base (attaching them to the base with glue).

Or collect cardboard 3D- a snowflake of two stars cut out on thick cardboard. Each star has vertical incision - between the legs. And cardboard stars put on each other this incision (see the photo of the snowflake above) is very easy to do with your own hands.

Schemes and master classes for creating these snowflakes (pictured above) - in the article

Also you can do snowflake crafts like a paper fan. They just look complicated, but are made very simply. I even found a tutorial. Very simple.

Below I give the assembly scheme like this volumetric snowflakes from paper. You can see for yourself what simple steps this has master class on assembling a fan paper snowflake. A simple craft that is easy to make at home with the kids.

Moreover, the edges of such a snowflake accordion can be pre-curly(as in the photo below).

You see, when we were drawing our accordion model, we came up with part of the teeth paper accordion make it higher than the rest- in the form of a three-leaf peak.

Such a FAN SNOWFLAKE can be made from MUSIC PAPER ... and additionally decorate with Christmas tree branches, pieces of shiny tulle rags and pictures cut out from a postcard. Like in the photo below. It turns out whole piece of art with your own hands - you can stick it on a gift bag. Or hang it from a loop on a Christmas tree.

Snowflake from ROLLS of toilet paper

THREE CRAFTS with your own hands.

And you can also make a beautiful snowflake from toilet paper rolls. Here's how to do it yourself. toilet paper roll squeeze a little and cut it into rings. Each crushed ring lay symmetrically in a circle in the shape of a snowflake.

Such a paper snowflake can be painted red and sprinkle with glitter for nails.

And pay attention to the photo below, that inside the rays-rolls there are more a few smaller paper rolls.

Toilet paper rings can be cut very thin and tie them up bundle in a circle(stretch the thread and pull it into a bun). It will turn out such an air miracle as in the photo below. Paint everything with white paint and sprinkle with silver sparkles.

And even if you don't have toilet paper rolls, you can make a snowflake. from ordinary white sheets of office paper(cut into strips and twist them into rings different sizes... And then from these rings collect rays of snowflakes... and then collect and glue all the rays together - and you get a paper snowflake as in the photo.

Paper snowflakes - using the QWILLING technique.

(photo of the best options)

You can also make your own paper snowflakes- IN THE TECHNIQUE QWILLING. For this you need from thin strips of paper wind the FIGURED flagella.

It's easy. I just wrap the strip around a toothpick (or a special pin for quilling), and then remove the twist (weaken it to the size we need, smooth it with my hands, giving it the desired shape ... and fix the tip of the twist with glue).

Make a lot of twist modules different forms and collect them them quilling snowflake. You can practice at home with your children to make such a paper snowflake craft. Children will be happy to twist the modules and fold the snowflake pattern.

Such a paper snowflake-craft using the Quilling technique can be made from colored paper. This is even more beautiful. Air lines and clear color spots. And opportunity decorate the anchor points of the pattern bright rhinestones. Here we get such multi-colored snowflakes crafts.

A snowflake made of red and white paper looks beautiful. If you plan to meet and decide to dress up the Christmas tree in white-red colors, then such paper snowflakes will help you save on purchases. Christmas decorations. They can be made in one color scheme but different in shape and size.

Snowflake caramel craft.

Take candy canes white (milk) and red (for example, barberries). We put them in different saucepans, pour water on the bottom (so that the caramel does not burn) - and put on fire. Our task melt caramel until liquid. When the caramel becomes liquid, we will make snowflakes out of it. We take a sheet of foil for baking(smooth, not crumpled) - put it on the board. And on this metal sheet we draw snowflakes with liquid caramel - pour in a thick stream(it is more convenient to pour from a hot gravy boat with a spout). We cool and get caramel-glass snowflakes - such crafts can be hung on ribbons by the window and let them play, the rays of the winter sun sparkle.

And you can also just string pieces of marmalade on the wire and also get an interesting snowflake. Or glue a snowflake out of corn balls. Kids will love this Christmas craft. It is more interesting and tastier than paper crafts.

Do-it-yourself snowflakes - from pasta and glue.

And the children will also like these New Year's pasta crafts ... When we take pasta of different shapes, we put them in a snowflake pattern on paper - and then neatly one after another glue them with barrels. This pasta snowflake can be painted with gold paint

Also, pasta can be glued to round pieces made of cardboard or canvas paper so that they have a solid base for gluing.

How to make a snowflake craft FROM THE DOUGH.

And here is a master class on how to make a snowflake out of dough. We make dough for cookies and squeeze out a symmetrical circular pattern with ordinary molds.

You can cut a snowflake salt dough. Squeeze out with foam. And if there is no such snowflake mold, then you can do it in an artisanal way - put it on the dough cardboard figurine snowflakes and circle it with a knife along the contour.

SNOWFLAKES FROM PLASTIC.

(beautiful DIY crafts)

I found several examples of New Year's crafts made of plastic with the image of snowflakes. Let's take a look at them now - for sure you will choose a method for yourself.

Model 1 - snowflakes from the bottoms of a plastic bottle.

We take plastic bottle from under mineral water - it is just made of bluish plastic - that is, it has a beautiful snowy tint. What we need.

Cut off the bottom with scissors or a file. On it we draw the outlines of a fluffy snowflake with white or blue paint. And we drill a hole - through which we pass the ribbon-hanger. good craft to work with children - you saw bottles (it works well with an ordinary knife), and the children draw a snowflake pattern.

Snowflakes with their own hands from transparent plates.

And you can thick transparent plastic sheet cut out neat stars and decorate them in the center with a snowflake pattern. You can take plastic from old packing boxes with transparent display side. Another sheet of plastic can serve transparent kitchen table mat. Or a thick clerical folder is also suitable for business. We get a beautiful New Year's crafts with your own hands.

Snowflakes made from caps.

Even plastic bottle caps can serve as a great New Year's decoration for your apartment. They can be glued to a piece of cardboard or plywood, and then cut along the contour. Or attach the lids to each other with glue from a glue gun.

Snowflakes-crafts from thermo-mosaic.

And you can also take an ordinary children's thermo-constructor - with such bubbly - you string them on pins, making a pattern, and then bake them in a microwave or oven - and you get a whole craft thing. In our case, we lay out the snowflake pattern and get the author's patterned beauty made of plastic, made with our skillful hands.

Snowflakes from GLUE and THREADS

Three easy crafts for kids.

And in this chapter of our article, I have collected THREE IDEAS on how to make a snowflake WITH GLUE, where it is the glue itself that will be the main material snowflakes. Let's take a look at these methods - they are all simple and easy to do with your own hands in normal home conditions.

MASTER CLASS No. 1 - a snowflake from a GLUE GUN.

The method is simple on a sheet of polyethylene with a glue gun we apply a pattern of a snowflake. Let dry and cover with glitter.

MASTER CLASS No. 1 - a snowflake made of glue on a thread frame.

Very beautiful snowflakes translucent and delicate. Now you will learn step by step how to make such a craft with your own hands.

STEP 1 Draw a snowflake on a sheet of paper - the pattern of a snowflake can be anything - but with one mandatory conditions- the picture should be FRAME - so that there are closed cells (for what, you will now understand).

We cover the sheet with the pattern with a thick film (or simply put this sheet inside a plastic office file).

STEP 2. And now, according to this pattern, we lay a thick thread (from any suitable yarn for knitting). To make the thread easy to fit into the shape, it needs to be moistened - but not in water, but in PVA GLUE. Wet thread will easily take the shape we need. And it will harden-harden in it due to the drying of the glue.

STEP 3. Now (without even waiting for our thread frame to dry) we will fill the snowflake cells with glue. Straight from a tube pour inside- do this puddle, the sides of which are thread.

And so that the filling of the glue was not white, but colored - it can be mixed with paint. We take a drop of gouache on the brush and knead it in our glue puddle, right in the snowflake cell.

We do this - with each cell - leaving empty cells between them. And we carefully place our sheet dry out of the reach of children. Let it lie there for a couple of days - so that everything dries well.

When the snowflake dries, it will be already easy to separate from polyethylene and hang it by a string on a window or on a Christmas tree. But better on the window - as the light will beautifully penetrate through the blue glue cells of the rays of the craft snowflake.

And here's another one good way make a snowflake out of glue and thread with your own hands.

MASTER CLASS No. 3 - a snowflake made of sewing threads and glue.

We need a sheet of polyethylene - glue and white bobbin threads.
On a sheet of paper - make a round puddle of glue- the size of the puddle should match the size of the silhouette of the future snowflake. That is, first we cut out our cardboard snowflake template and then we make a puddle of glue, which is commensurate with this snowflake silhouette.

Further, on this puddle of glue, we RANDOMLY LAY the thread - we put it and put it, as it fits - in several layers - in different directions. And dry the whole puddle. And then when everything is dry - we take this round thread adhesive plate... we apply a snowflake stencil template to it - and cut it out along the contour. We get a beautiful elegant snowflake craft made by ourselves.

DIY snowflakes

From NATURAL MATERIAL.

You can make a snowflake from the material that nature gave us. It can be knots from chopped tree branches.

You can make a snowflake from the remnants of lumber brought from the country.

You can make snowflakes from straw and thread - as shown in the photo below. If you look at the photo, you can see how to do it all

Better yet, I’ll draw and write you step by step how to make one such snowflake. And it will become more clear.

Also you can do snowflakes-crafts from ICE. Take a few glasses and freeze ice in them (pour water and put them in the cold. Take the ice out of the glasses and draw a snowflake on each with paints and melt a hole with a hot carnation. Work is best done in a cold room on the street - so that the ice does not melt. And then they can beautifully hang windows along the eaves - from the opposite side of the street, or on a tree near the gate ... or under a canopy over the porch.Let them hang and tinkle in the wind.

How to make snowflakes out of felt.

I have . Very large, and there are many ideas of what decorations can be made for the Christmas tree from bright felt.
And of course you can cut snowflakes out of it. Made from thick felt just cut out the contours and the snowflake will keep its shape. From thin felt the snowflake must be glued to the base-base.

But PETAL snowflakes - they are made very easily with your own hands. Now you will learn how...

Round piece of felt cut DIAGONALLY in a circle- like pizza in pieces - we get something like flower petals. Each petal loading sharpening along the edge(any pattern - a scar or pipette).
And then at the very root, each petal is SEALED-CONNECTED - that is, we press the blades of the petal against each other and sew them together with threads. Getting a Petal Snowflake from felt - we decorate it with oval beads or long glass beads.

And here is a model of a snowflake, which at first was flat - and then it was made three-dimensional by carving and bending. And decorated with large rhinestones and a small textile decorative flower.

From felt snowflakes, you can make beautiful Christmas craft wreaths.

SNOWFLAKES made of beads.

MASTER CLASSES of weaving and SCHEMES.

Well, finally, the turn came to snowflakes from beads. Very pretty things. And most importantly, they are created very quickly - it takes a beginner 30 minutes to create such a snowflake. I checked myself - on the last week wove just such a BLUE SNOWFLAKE - wove without a pattern from this photo(made of gold and white beads with bronze glass beads - it turned out gorgeous). For the first time in my life. And everything got. Weaving not on a fishing line, but on wire- large snowflakes should be woven exactly like this - with wire - so that the rays keep exactly to the sides.

The alternations of large long beads and small granular beads look beautiful - in ONE COLOR. Especially beautiful are homemade snowflakes made of beads and beads, made in a snowy dazzling white color.

Beads look nice their clear crystals. It turns out a crystal icy snowflake - just like a real one, made with your own hands.

And here is a MASTER CLASS on weaving snowflakes from beads. In the detailed photo instructions, we see each step of the lesson on assembling a snowflake from blue beads. And it immediately becomes clear that making such a snowflake with your own hands is quite simple and easy. Try it and everything will work out. Only six large beads are needed - the rest are ordinary beads.

And here's another master class of weaving a figured snowflake from beads different colors . The red arrows show the movement of the beads through the beads - either through passages through the previous row, or new layers of bead rows and stitches through the first tier of the pattern.

And here are some more diagrams ... IN THE FIRST SNOWFLAKE, the rows are shown in different colors - so that the sequence of weaving is clear. And IN THE SECOND, you have to look closely and figure out for yourself what follows what.

And here are examples of snowflakes in which the START OF WEAVING IS THE SAME - that is, you see that the central part of three snowflakes is the same. We start weaving according to one pattern for all, and only then add different patterned rays, as you like.

Here are examples of snowflakes in the assembly of which more are involved and long tubes of glass beads. The pattern of weaving such a snowflake-star is understandable even from a photograph. But if not, write in the comments and I will draw step by step picture and post it here.

Such beaded snowflakes can become designer earrings.

Or wicker snowflakes can be a decor for Christmas ball. Also, as you can see, original and beautiful.

Here are some DIY ideas. I poured a SEA OF SNOWFLAKES for you today - whole drifts of snowy ideas. Choose any for your home New Year's joy.
