Snowflakes are an essential part of winter and Christmas decorations! There are many ways and options for making such crafts. Today we will look at a very interesting, and most importantly, simple way to make a snowflake from knitting threads. Making such a snowflake is very easy and fast, so you can start working with the children.

To make a snowflake we need:

  • thread for knitting white color;
  • 6 transparent beads;
  • scissors;
  • needle;
  • school notebook or book.

It is not necessary to make such a snowflake from white yarn. You can take a thread of any color. The size of the finished snowflake will depend on the object on which we will wind the thread. You can take a common notebook or book and wind a white thread. The thicker we wind, the more voluminous and thicker the snowflake will be. But you don’t need to wind a lot, because in this case the pattern of the finished product will be poorly visible.

Then carefully remove the workpiece and pull it in the center with a thread of the same color, tying 2 tight knots. That is, we capture both sides of the resulting ring and tie a knot.

Now cut with scissors from both edges. We carefully stretch them with scissor blades so that the threads are then approximately the same length.

We turn the workpiece over and distribute the threads approximately equally. We need to see the center of the workpiece. We do this on both sides, forming a circle of threads. In this position, place the workpiece on a solid surface.

We divide the threads into 6 approximately identical parts. You do not need to count each thread, just distribute it in bunches by eye.

Now, stepping back a little from the center, we drag the bundle with a thread.

We do this with each bundle. Drag on the same level.

In the center, we already have a small six-pointed snowflake. Next, we will form a new tier of snowflakes. To do this, we need to divide each beam into 2 identical parts. These parts must be combined with adjacent beams.

And again we tie the resulting bundles.

To decorate our snowflake, take 6 transparent beads. We pass a piece of thread inside. You can use a needle with a wide eye for this if it goes through the hole in the bead.

We tie the bundle again. We do this with each bundle.

Now we just have to trim the brushes. We cut them with scissors.

In just a few minutes you can make a beautiful volumetric snowflake from threads for knitting.

This beautiful airy snowflake can be used as a Christmas toy to decorate the Christmas tree.

Christmas deer toy on a Christmas tree made of ice cream sticks

The next toy is in the form of a cute deer made of wooden ice cream sticks. An entertaining process and amazing results are guaranteed!

Required materials and tools:

  1. wooden ice cream sticks;
  2. stationery knife;
  3. glue;
  4. paint and brush;
  5. decorative elements.

At the initial stage, it is necessary to prepare a paper stencil. There are two ways to do this: print from the Internet or draw with your own hands. In any case, the picture subsequently needs to be cut with scissors.

We lay out the wooden sticks close to each other and transfer the contour of the deer using the blank. A pencil is quite suitable as a tool. Its lead lies well on a wooden surface.

After the end of the laborious process, all the elements must be glued together. The result should be the basis for a Christmas tree toy.

We begin the entertaining stage of the decor with painting a faceless deer. Colors can be very different: from traditional red to bright yellow. However, you should not combine more than two types. Otherwise, decorative elements may be lost against such a background.

At the final stage, we fix the loop and decorate the base of the toy. Ribbons, buttons, beads - this is not a complete list of items that can be used to decorate a toy.

A cute handmade Christmas deer will certainly surprise friends and family with its originality. Using the described principle, you can collect a whole hand made a collection of toys in the form of Christmas trees, shoes or hearts. Creative inspiration and fantasy!

DIY Christmas toys to decorate the Christmas tree in the yard

Original Christmas decorations can be made using egg packaging, water and gouache paint. Such toys will look bright and beautiful on the Christmas tree in your yard, delight you and your guests.

To make a Christmas tree toy you will need:

  • Egg packaging (store container) ;
  • running water (from a domestic tap);
  • flesh-colored sewing threads;
  • plasticine for modeling;
  • scissors;
  • yellow gouache paint;
  • freezer.

Pour tap water into a plastic cup.

Use yellow gouache paint to color the water in the glass. Fill the second glass with clean water in case you need to add it to the mold.

Pour the colored water into the molds, but not to the brim. About half.

Close the lid of the egg mold tightly.

Remove the package from the freezer. Let the colored water freeze into ice.

Cut thread for loops. It will take ten pieces of fifteen centimeters.

In the next step, you will need a piece of plasticine.

By the number of loops, roll up tiny balls of plasticine.

Glue plasticine balls to the ends of the threads.

Flatten the balls of plasticine.

Place the loops in the molds.

Now you need a second glass of water.

Pour water into the molds to the brim.

Close the mold again and put it in the freezer.

Christmas ball from a disk

Decorate the Christmas tree New Year– what could be more interesting? Consider in this short lesson a master class on creating a wonderful ball from a disk.

For work we need:

  • white and blue felt;
  • disk;
  • white cotton yarn;
  • glue;
  • decorative buttons and other embellishments.

To begin with, we will cut out snow and a blue sky from felt, the diameter of this should be equal to the diameter of the disk.

Next, take hook number 2 and white yarn, start knitting reverse side our decoration, it must have a large number of spaces, because thanks to them, the disk itself will be visible. Choose any pattern for this.

The diameter of the reverse side must match the diameter of the disk. Now let's start decorating the outside. Glue multi-colored buttons to the felt.

Then we take a thread and sew on beads, they will imitate snowflakes. Here's what we get.

Now you need to sew together the two parts of the product, inserting a disk in the middle. We sew and sew the ribbon on top, and we also sheathe the contour of the disk with a white ribbon.

Here is our work and ready. This decoration can be hung on any Christmas tree!

Toys - do-it-yourself paper umbrellas

See how to make these here.

It is difficult to imagine a New Year's mood without snow, so we will dilute the home environment with snowflakes. You can make them from various materials, from plain paper to wood and glass. Consider a method for making decorative snowflakes from glue.

We prepare everything necessary tools and materials:

  • glue gun;
  • glue for a gun (a couple of sticks are enough);
  • baking paper or foil;
  • any cream;
  • glue;
  • brushes;
  • scissors;
  • sequins;
  • thread for hanging.

The whole process will take no more than an hour, everything is so fast and elementary that you can entrust the execution to the child. This craft is also suitable for kindergarten. First of all, we select the drawing of the future snowflake. You can search on the Internet, or you can come up with your own.

We pay attention so that there are no too small details, in them the glue will merge into an ordinary blot.

We transfer the drawing to baking paper / foil, grease the surface with any cream - without it, the glue will be problematic to peel off.

We heat up the glue gun and begin to carefully trace the contour of the snowflake with a strip of liquid glue. We make sure that there are no separate lines left, they must all intersect, otherwise individual parts will simply fall off.

After the New Year's snowflake is completely circled, let it dry for a few minutes.

Dry glue can be easily cut with scissors, at this stage we cut off all the imperfections (protruding drops, excess glue), we correct the shape of the snowflake itself.

Now you can start the decorating step. This will require glue. With a brush, apply a thin layer of glue to the surface of the snowflake.

Sprinkle with glitter, white glitter will create a more natural effect.

Let the glitter glue dry for 20-25 minutes, after which we attach the thread for hanging. Everything, the snowflake is ready to decorate the Christmas tree and give the New Year mood.

How to make such a New Year's toy - see detailed master class video

Thread solution: take 50 ml of water and dissolve 3 teaspoons of sugar in it, add PVA glue - the more the better. And we wrap balloon threads as shown in the video:

DIY 3D Christmas tree toy

Decorating the Christmas tree with the whole family is a real pleasure. The very preparation for the new year causes dizziness, anticipation fabulous holiday. Each of the family members is busy with their own affairs, for example, searching for gifts, recipes for holiday table, hand made Christmas decorations.

Why not decorate the Christmas tree with handmade toys from natural materials, in particular, pine cones, on the eve of the New Year? An easy-to-use craft looks very harmonious on green branches.

We prepare for work:

  • pine cone;
  • clothespin;
  • tinsel;
  • plastic snowflake;
  • scissors;
  • glue.

In the craft, we will use the opened cone of ordinary pine. However, absolutely any variety of cones, for example, Crimean pine, is suitable for making this decoration.

And another moment. As a decorative element, a plastic snowflake purchased at a needlework store is used in the work. If it is not possible to get such a part, it can be replaced corrugated paper, plastic flowers cut out of cups.

In general, there is something to think about at your leisure. How to make a cone a decent frame? The process of making crafts is very simple. First you need to glue the snowflake to the clothespin.

We glue a new decorative element of the craft in the center of the snowflake.

It remains to attach on top pine cone. We do not regret Clay. The bump should stick tightly to the plastic snowflake, not to the tinsel.

The decoration is ready. It turned out to be a kind of candle.

Of course, if you wish, you can pre-paint the cones in different colors, decorate with beads or sequins. We won't do it. The resulting candle looks very natural, harmoniously on the green paws of our fluffy tree.

Here's the proof. Bump, like a bump. Nothing extra. Even the red color of the clothespin does not confuse the eye (although, no doubt, the tree would fit better here).

A very original craft for a Christmas tree made of light bulbs - video tutorial

Children are preparing for the celebration of the New Year - they learn scripts, poems, congratulations and make crafts on a winter theme. It can be applications on windows, paper garlands or Christmas toys. We, perhaps, will stop on the last variant. Our Christmas tree is already decorated with homemade bunnies, snowmen and other figurines.

Today we will make a pasta craft in the form of spirals. We propose to dwell on the simplest and most understandable master class, which children of primary school age can independently repeat.

We prepare for work:

  • Paper triangle;
  • a piece of plastic from a folder or folder;
  • PVA glue;
  • spirals;
  • watercolor with a brush;
  • ribbon or thread for a loop;
  • scissors.

We have a primitive Christmas tree template made of white paper in the form of a triangle, scissors and a plastic rectangle from a binder.

Let's connect them together and cut out a transparent plastic blank for New Year's pasta crafts - Christmas trees

Of course, sometimes gaps will be visible between the details, but they do not spoil the craft at all. So even better. The tree has distinct branches.

It was the turn to pick up watercolor, a thick brush and cover the Christmas tree with emerald greenery. In order not to stain the table, we put a regular landscape sheet under the blank.

It remains to hang trees on prickly paws bright decorations. Let's use PVA. It can be shells, bows or the same spirals. In our case, the whorls represent long candles. Let's paint them in a juicy red color.

Attach a loop to the top of the craft. Here it is better to use a stapler or superglue. Otherwise, how to hang a pasta toy on a Christmas tree?

A craft glued to an ordinary clothespin will hold on tightly enough on the branches. Then the loop can not be engaged.

This is what our decoration looks like on a real Christmas tree among balls and tinsel. Beautiful?

Children's craft - pasta Christmas tree

This New Year's toy is made in 20 minutes from simple improvised means.

The work will require the following materials:

  • the basis for the cone is a foam ball or an egg from under children's toys;
  • brown velvet colored paper;
  • foam balls or blanks in the form of cones;
  • narrow tape for a loop;
  • glue gun.

We cut a piece 10 cm long from a satin ribbon. Cut out droplets from velvet paper - scales of a future cone about 1 cm in size .. Paper can be absolutely any color, because christmas cones differ in variegation of colors and colors.

First of all, we glue the tape to the wide base of the toy - to the foam blank.

We begin to glue the scales from the side of the loop. We paste them over the entire surface of the workpiece.

So that the bump does not look boring, we crumble the foam and attach the balls to the edges of the scales in the upper part.

New Year's snowy cone is ready in minutes. Such toys will not only save money on the purchase of Christmas tree decorations, but also decorate the Christmas tree and the interior of the room.

One of the most popular Christmas decorations can be called a paper Christmas angel, which can be made according to the proposed master class. Such an angel is made very simply and quickly.

Necessary materials:

  • White sheet of A4 format;
  • scissors;
  • pencil;
  • ruler;
  • glue;
  • glitters of gold color.

First, cut out 2 squares from paper right size, on which the final size of the future angel will depend. In our case, the squares are 9x9 cm.

Now we fold both squares with an accordion.

On each of the blanks, it is required to make one fold in opposite directions. This fold should be located about 1/3 of the distance from the edge.

On each of the blanks, it is necessary to glue the side, top part while it will be the wings of an angel.

Now let's start creating the head. To do this, cut off a strip from a sheet of paper, the width of which is equal to the accordion, with which we folded the squares. After that, we begin to twist the cut off narrow strip, periodically fastening it with glue.

To create a head of the desired size, several strips may be required, we take as many as necessary to make a proportional craft.

We make the remaining end of the narrow strip free, while creating a halo. We fix a strip of paper at the bottom and leave a small end.

The resulting workpiece is glued between two previously bent accordions.

With the help of golden sequins, we decorate our craft.

Our Christmas paper angel is ready.

DIY Christmas decorations - the most original jewelry. Still, another such ball, snowman or animal cannot be found. It is made in a single copy. Christmas trees decorated with homemade children's toys look incredibly colorful and unique.

Today we propose to consider a simple master class and answer the question: how to make New Year's crafts from plastic cup? Of course, other improvised materials will be used in the work. But! At the heart of the decoration will still be a glass of yogurt.

So, for crafts you will need:

  • cotton wool;
  • tinsel;
  • a plastic cup;
  • sequins;
  • satin ribbon or thread;
  • glue;
  • scissors.

At the first stage, the guys cannot cope on their own. You have to turn to adults for help. It is necessary to make two neat holes in a plastic cup. In a second, dad will pierce even holes with an awl, through which we will stretch a satin ribbon - the handle of a future flower basket.

We fix the ends of the tape with small knots.

Now take a piece of snow-white cotton wool and put it in the basket. Of course, any other filler can be used for this purpose. However, we associate cotton wool with snow and the New Year. Moreover, it is incredibly light, and therefore does not weigh down the craft in the least.

We will cut off several short parts from tinsel, imitate greens in a basket.

The turn has come to grease each sequin with glue and lay a fiery bouquet on the surface of the cotton wool.

As a result, in 15 minutes we got a colorful, light and pretty Christmas decoration - a basket of flowers.

Let's show the New Year's crafts from a plastic cup and improvised materials close-up.

But the basket took its place on the Christmas tree.

This is where we finish the job. It's time to remove the leftover materials used in the manufacture of crafts from the table and go outside for new ideas. A walk in the frosty air always inspires creativity!

Do you love needlework? Then you will love making DIY Christmas decorations! This is a pleasant and exciting activity for the whole family that will not leave anyone indifferent - you will spend several evenings with pleasure making toys for the Christmas tree with your own hands.

What do we use for the material

What do you need to make DIY Christmas decorations? You can use almost anything that comes your way. If you want, you can buy special consumables (sold in art stores), or you can use what is in any home. So what to prepare:
  • plain paper (suitable for making patterns);
  • pencils and markers;
  • ordinary, white and colored cardboard (velvet can be used);
  • sharp scissors and a dummy knife;
  • glue (PVA or glue gun with rods);
  • threads and needles;
  • yarn of different shades;
  • various decorative materials - it can be sparkles, sequins, confetti, multi-colored foil, stickers and much more.
This is a basic set, but in order to make a specific Christmas tree toy, something else may be required.

Simple crafts from improvised materials

Of course, you have probably seen how Christmas balls are made from threads and glue with your own hands, but why not expand the range? We make different Christmas decorations with your own hands.

From yarn

This is a simple and at the same time spectacular Christmas decoration that can decorate any Christmas tree.

For manufacturing you will need:

  • yarn;
  • tailor's pins;
  • plate or bowl;
  • porous material (for example, a disposable tray);
  • cutting paper;
  • marker.
The threads need to be soaked in glue - the glue should soak the yarn well, it is thanks to it that the decoration will keep its shape. While the threads are absorbing the glue, you need to make a template for your toy - draw on paper what you want. It can be DIY Christmas balls, outlandish birds or neat little houses. You can also try to make a snowman, a couple small Christmas trees and a star.

The template needs to be attached with pins (or ordinary toothpicks) to the porous material, and lay out the pattern you need on top - first the contour is laid out, then the interior decor. Do not cross the threads too often, the toy should be fairly flat. After you are done, dry the product and remove it from the pins, and tie a loop in the eye. If desired, you can decorate with sparkles or rain.

From wire

How to make Christmas toys with your own hands in just a couple of minutes? Use wire!

To make toys you will need:

  • two types of wire - thick and thin (thin can be replaced bright threads, for example, floss. Pure white strong threads look very nice);
  • beads, beads;
  • colored tape;
  • pliers.
In order to make figurines or balls for the Christmas tree, cut a few pieces from thick wire and give them the shape that your Christmas decoration will have. In our case, this is a star, but you can use any geometric shapes and simple silhouettes.

The ends of the thick wire must be twisted. You need to string beads and beads mixed on a thin wire, tie the end of a thin wire to a future Christmas tree decoration, and wrap it randomly.

When the toy is evenly wrapped, you need to wrap the free tail of the wire around the toy, and tie a ribbon in the shape of a bow - your toy is ready.

Another original idea:

Ribbon and beads

Who said that do-it-yourself New Year's toys must be done for a long time and painstakingly? Not at all. Literally in five minutes you can, which will decorate and Christmas tree, and the interior.

You will need:

  • beads;
  • narrow tape;
  • yellow, gold or silver cardboard;
  • glue "Second";
  • needle with thread.
We fold the ribbon with an accordion and string it on a thread, after each loop of the ribbon you need to string a bead. The more "tiers", the smaller they are - you see, the Christmas tree is already starting to turn out. When the ribbon ends, the thread must be tied in a knot, and a small star should be cut out of the cardboard. Next, you need to glue your Christmas tree to the star, and make a loop on top so that the decoration can be easily hung.

The interior decor made in this way looks very attractive.

From cardboard - in a couple of minutes

Some Christmas toys made of paper or cardboard take a lot of time to make, but not in this case - here you really need a couple of minutes to make an elegant hand-made Christmas decoration.

So, you will need:

  • ordinary cardboard;
  • some twine or thick yarn;
  • glue;
  • paints and brushes;
  • napkin or cloth;
  • varied decor.
Make two figurines out of cardboard, glue them together, laying a thread with a loop between them - the blank for the toy is ready.

We wrap the tree in different directions with a free tail of twine. After some pattern of threads appears on the Christmas tree, you can start gluing it with a napkin. You can tear the napkin into pieces, coat the Christmas tree well with glue, and glue it tightly with a napkin. This will give a nice texture to the future toy.

After the toy has dried, you can start painting - paint the Christmas tree in green color.

After the paint layer dries, shade the texture of the toy with a dry hard brush and white paint, and then decorate as you like.

From bright patches

Here you will need sewing machine, but with a special desire, you can cope without it. This is The best way make Christmas toys from cotton wool and fabric - just choose a fabric with a Christmas ornament, or use the one you have on hand.

Prepare some paper patterns - for example, deer, stars, gingerbread men, cubs, letters and hearts. Cut the blanks out of the fabric with your own hands, sew them in pairs, leaving a small gap (for stuffing), and through this small hole, tightly stuff the toys with cotton wool or padding polyester. It is most convenient to fill with a pencil.

Patterns can be downloaded here:

By the way, do not forget - we sew on a typewriter from the inside, but if you decide to make toys made of dense fabric with the kids, then it is better to sew decorative seam over the edge - a do-it-yourself toy will look simply charming and suitable even for a home Christmas tree, even for kindergarten- usually for kindergarten trees, children make decorations themselves.

From twine and cardboard

Christmas toys from paper and cardboard will be much more interesting if you add a couple more to them simple materials. To make such a toy, you will need ordinary cardboard, simple paper or natural twine, a little felt or any other fabric, as well as plain paper, a pencil and a ruler, a drop of glue.

The star pattern can be downloaded here:

First make a pattern on plain paper and then transfer it to cardboard. Do not forget that the star must be double. Do not make the star too thin, it is better to make it from a centimeter or more. The tail of the twine is glued to the cardboard, then you need to gradually wrap the entire workpiece.

Lay the thread as tightly as possible so that there are no gaps. In order to decorate the star, make a couple of leaves and berries out of fabric and decorate one of the rays. Your decoration is ready.

From yarn and cardboard

Do you want to make original and at the same time charming Christmas decorations with your own hands? Then it's time to make small gift hats with your own hands from improvised materials. It's wonderful new year gift which looks cute and will keep you warm all winter!

To make Christmas tree decorations in the form of hats, you will need:

  • a couple of toilet paper bushings (you can just glue cardboard rings together);
  • remnants of colored yarn;
  • beads and sequins for decoration.
From cardboard, you need to glue rings about 1.5-2 cm wide. If you use a toilet paper sleeve as a base, cut it into several segments of approximately the same width.

The threads need to be cut into segments of approximately 20-22 centimeters. We fold each piece in half, draw the loop through the cardboard ring, and stretch the free edges of the threads through the loop. It is necessary that the thread is firmly fixed on the cardboard base. So you need to repeat until the cardboard base is hidden under the threads.

All thread tails need to be pulled through the ring so that our hat has a “lapel”.

And now we drag the free ponytails tightly with a thread and cut them in the shape of a pompom - the hat is ready! It remains only to make a loop and decorate your Christmas tree toy with sequins and sparkles.

From beads

Making a New Year's toy in the style of minimalism is easy and simple - you will need wire, beads and beads, a ribbon and a coin (you can replace it with a small candy, but it looks much more spectacular with a coin). Try to make this Christmas tree toy with your own hands, a very simple master class.

Make a loop on the wire and string green beads mixed with large beads on it - they will play the role of New Year's balls on our Christmas tree. After the wire is filled, give it the shape of a Christmas tree, folding in a spiral.

Once your tree is in shape, fold the loose end into a loop.

We cut off a piece of ribbon, form a loop for hanging from it and stretch it through the Christmas tree, and decorate the free tail with a coin (the easiest way is to stick it on double-sided tape). We tie a decorative bow on the loop for hanging - your decor is ready!

Christmas balls

How to do christmas ball from threads? As easy as shelling pears, watch our master class about spectacular lace balls on the Christmas tree.

Would need:

  • several balloons;
  • cotton threads;
  • PVA, water and sugar;
  • scissors;
  • polymer glue;
  • spray paint;
  • decor.

First you need to inflate the balloon - not completely, but according to the size of the future decoration. Mix two tablespoons of water, two teaspoons of sugar and PVA glue (50 ml), and soak the thread in this mixture so that the thread is saturated. Then you need to wrap the ball with a thread randomly. The balls need to be dried for several hours. After the glue is completely dry, you need to blow off the ball and take it out, and gently paint the thread ball with spray paint and decorate with sequins and sparkles.

Do-it-yourself thread Christmas balls will turn out to be very, very spectacular if you make them in different tones - for example, red, silver and gold. Try to make your own Christmas balls in different technique- you can sew or knit balls, make them from cotton wool with your own hands or, for example, sew them from felt - there are never too many such toys.
